BE’ERA · THE WELL

Our Journey

Every Step in Faith

A vision taking root. A community coming together. A journey guided by God.

Every meaningful journey begins somewhere.

For Be’era — The Well, that beginning was not a piece of land, a building, or a business plan. It began with an encounter with God's love and a calling to serve others.

What started as a vision placed upon one heart is slowly becoming something that we pray will touch the lives of many.

We are still at the beginning of our journey, prayerfully laying the foundation for Our Promised Land Farm, The Well at Our Promised Land Schoolhouse, and the community programs we hope to establish.

Along the way, we are learning, seeking guidance, building relationships, and meeting individuals who share a desire to strengthen families and serve their neighbors.

We believe that building something meaningful requires more than enthusiasm. It requires patience, wisdom, stewardship, accountability, and a willingness to do the work necessary to turn a vision into something lasting.

We do not have every answer, nor do we know exactly what tomorrow will bring. But we continue moving forward in faith, trusting God to guide our steps and open the right doors in His perfect timing.

Growing Together

Be’era is not meant to be the work of one individual. We believe that God brings people together, each with different gifts, knowledge, experiences, and abilities, to accomplish a purpose greater than themselves.

As our vision grows, we are grateful for the individuals offering their time, guidance, encouragement, and willingness to serve.

Our desire is to build Be’era upon a foundation of integrity, responsible stewardship, genuine compassion, and a shared commitment to the families and communities we hope to serve.

Meet Our Board of Directors

Behind Be’era — The Well is a dedicated Board of Directors committed to helping guide its mission, protect its purpose, and support its responsible development.

Beth Saida Hernandez

Founder & President

A Lancaster County native and the daughter of a pastor, Beth Saida Hernandez was raised with a deep love for God’s Word and a heart for serving others. She is the devoted wife of a United States Marine veteran and the grateful mother of twelve amazing children. Her faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of her life, her family, and the vision she carries for Be’era — The Well.

Through seasons of great joy as well as profound sorrow, Beth has come to know the Lord’s faithfulness and love in a deeply personal way. She believes that faith is meant to be lived out through compassion, hospitality, and a willing heart to serve. Her prayer is that Be’era will become a place where people are welcomed with the love of Christ, children and families are strengthened, practical needs are met, and no one feels forgotten.

Above all, Beth desires to remain obedient to the Lord’s leading, steward this mission with humility and integrity, and remind those she meets that she, alongside Be’era, is here to serve — all for His glory.

Where We Are in Our Journey

Building relationships. Laying foundations. Preparing for what is ahead.

Although Be’era — The Well is still in its early stages, much is happening behind the scenes as we work toward bringing our vision to life.

One of our greatest priorities is the acquisition of farmland where Our Promised Land Farm, our schoolhouse, and future community programs can take root. We are thoughtfully exploring agricultural properties and opportunities that will allow us to build a working farm with a lasting community purpose.

We have also been blessed with opportunities to meet and speak with experienced agricultural professionals, respected community leaders, and individuals whose knowledge and guidance are helping us better understand the path ahead.

These conversations have opened doors to valuable relationships, new perspectives, and opportunities for collaboration that we are grateful to explore.

At the same time, we are diligently working through the business planning, organizational development, and financial preparation necessary to establish Be’era upon a strong and responsible foundation.

We are especially excited about building relationships with local farmers, small businesses, family-owned companies, craftsmen, educators, and community organizations.

We believe small businesses are an important part of strong communities, and we hope to create partnerships where we can encourage one another, share resources, and work together toward meaningful goals.

An Invitation to Small Businesses

If you own or represent a small business and believe your services, products, experience, or talents could contribute to Be’era's mission, we would love to hear from you.

Whether you work in agriculture, construction, education, food production, professional services, or another field, we welcome the opportunity to connect and explore ways we might work together.

We believe that some of the most meaningful partnerships begin with a simple conversation.
