BE’ERA · THE WELL

Our Programs

Faith in Action. Love Through Service.

Serving families. Sharing knowledge. Strengthening communities.

At Be’era — The Well, we believe that love is more than something we speak about. It is something we are called to demonstrate through our actions.

Our vision is to create opportunities for individuals and families to learn, grow, work together, and find encouragement through programs rooted in faith, compassion, and community.

We believe that sometimes the greatest blessing we can offer another person is not simply meeting an immediate need, but helping them discover the knowledge, confidence, and skills to build a stronger future.

Through Be’era, we hope to develop programs that nourish both the body and the spirit, preserve valuable traditions, and remind people that they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.

Programs We Hope to Bring to Life

Food Preservation Program

Preserving the harvest. Passing down traditions.

We hope to teach individuals and families the traditional art of preserving food through hands-on instruction in canning, dehydrating, freezing, and other safe food preservation methods.

Our desire is to help families stretch their food budgets, reduce waste, preserve seasonal harvests, and rediscover valuable skills once passed down from generation to generation.

Gardening Program

Planting seeds. Growing knowledge.

We envision a gardening program that teaches families how to grow their own food, whether they have several acres, a small backyard, or simply a few containers on a porch.

From preparing the soil and planting seeds to nurturing crops and harvesting vegetables, we hope to equip people with practical knowledge that encourages independence, patience, and a greater appreciation for God’s creation.

SNAP-to-Seed Program

Turning food assistance into opportunities to grow.

Through our proposed SNAP-to-Seed initiative, we hope to help eligible families understand how SNAP benefits may be used to purchase qualifying food-producing seeds and plants.

We envision pairing that knowledge with gardening education, practical growing resources, and encouragement so families can begin producing some of their own fresh food, regardless of their experience or available space.

Our heart is to help families turn a small seed into a harvest that can nourish their households.

Feeding Our Neighbors

We envision working alongside local families and community partners to improve access to fresh, wholesome food. Through agricultural outreach, community food initiatives, and partnerships with organizations serving those in need, our desire is to help bring nourishment and encouragement to households facing difficult circumstances.

We want to serve with dignity, recognizing that every family has a story and every person deserves to be treated with compassion and respect.

Traditional Skills & Homesteading

There is something beautiful about knowledge passed down from one generation to the next. As Be’era grows, we hope to offer hands-on learning in sewing, breadmaking, woodworking, and other practical homesteading arts.

These skills encourage independence, resourcefulness, patience, and stewardship while bringing generations together.

Agricultural Education & Stewardship

Through Our Promised Land Farm, we envision opportunities for children, families, and community members to experience the meaningful work of agriculture, from planting seeds and harvesting vegetables to caring for animals and understanding the soil.

Family & Community Connections

We desire Be’era to become a gathering place where families find encouragement, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to serve one another through workshops, shared projects, community gatherings, volunteer opportunities, and mentorship.

Whether someone comes to learn something new, share a skill, lend a helping hand, or simply find a place to belong, we want them to know their presence matters.

Growing in Faith, One Step at a Time

These are only a few of the programs we hope to establish through Be’era — The Well. Our programs are still in the planning and development stages. We are prayerfully building relationships, exploring partnerships, and preparing for opportunities to bring this vision to life.

Our goal is not simply to teach a class, but to share knowledge that can serve families for generations. Even the smallest act of kindness, offered with genuine love, can make a lasting difference.

To serve others. To teach others. To feed others.

“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18 (KJV)
